Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens

Designed for workers in the commercial market who must receive training per OSHA Standard 1910.1030.

The Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students:

• How to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace
• What to do when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• The right steps to take to clean themselves and the area involved when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• How to report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace.

Class includes a book, materials, and exam. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Course Completion Card valid for (1) year.

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens On-Line Course

This interactive course teaches students how to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace, as well as how to take the proper steps to clean themselves and the area after exposure, and report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online covers the general OSHA Standard 1910.1030 for bloodborne-pathogens training for employees in non-medical settings with a real potential for occupational exposure, and is designed to meet OSHA requirements when paired with site-specific bloodborne-pathogens training.
