When Seconds Count, Inc. is an Accredited Training Agency through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Office of Emergency Medical ServicesEmergency Medical Technician - Basic ProgramWe are now accepting applications for our Summer and Fall 2012 EMT-B Programs. Our 150 hour EMT-Basic Program at When Seconds Count, Inc. offers comprehensive classroom training, and the opportunity to observe ambulance operations during an ambulance ride-along and Emergency Room Observation Time. Students will receive a Healthcare Provider CPR Card from the American Heart Association upon successful completion of the CPR course which is included with our program. After successfully completing the EMT-Basic Program, students receive a When Seconds Count Certificate and are eligible for the State Certification and Licensing Examinations. This program includes 2-4 Saturday sessions. You do not have to be 18 years of age to enroll in this program although you must be at least 18 years of age to take the State Certification Examinations. Early registration is strongly recommended
