Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online Course

For employees with a real potential for occupational bloodborne pathogen exposure! Through online content and interactive activities Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online teaches students how to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace, as well as how to react when exposed, take the proper steps to clean themselves and the area after exposure, and report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online covers the general OSHA Standard 1910.1030 for bloodborne-pathogens training for employees in non-medical settings with a real potential for occupational exposure, and is designed to meet OSHA requirements when paired with site-specific bloodborne-pathogens training. The online course can be used for first-time or renewal bloodborne pathogens training and provides students with a certificate of completion when they have successfully completed all modules.

Heartsaver First Aid Online Part 1

This Web-based eLearning program provides the cognitive portion (Part 1) of the Heartsaver(R) First Aid course. Covers all required sequences and includes an online American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid exam. Course participants who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate granting them entrance to a skills testing session with an American Heart Association instructor at When Seconds Count, Inc. An AHA course completion card will be issued by When Seconds Count, Inc which is an AHA training center when both parts are successfully completed.

Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED Online Part 1

This Web-based eLearning product presents the cognitive portion (Part 1) of training online, covering all required sequences for an American Heart Association Heartsaver(R) First Aid With CPR & AED course and providing American Heart Association Heartsaver(R) First Aid review questions for participants to answer. Upon successful completion of the online course, students receive a Certificate of Completion that they must present at a skills practice session (Part 2) and skills test (Part 3) with an American Heart Association Instructor at When Seconds Count, Inc. An AHA course completion card will be issued by When Seconds Count, Inc which is an AHA training center. Students receive their Heartsaver First Aid course completion card upon successful completion of all parts of the course.

BLS For Healthcare Providers Online Renewal Course

Convenient new alternative for renewing completion of the Healthcare Provider course! This updated release of the Web-based eLearning course provides Part 1, the online portion of the BLS for Healthcare Providers renewal course. It includes a series of modules that cover all required sequences. Provides participants with the convenient option of taking the AHA Healthcare Provider exam online. Includes 11 checkpoint exercises with review questions, and provides online cognitive test and evaluation. Expands on the American Heart Association Stroke Algorithm; provides credit for the Joint Commission stroke requirements; and is available for continuing education credits for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and EMTs by their respective organizations.

HeartCode BLS Online Part 1

An ideal option for healthcare providers seeking an alternative to traditional classroom training for first-time or renewal certification, this Web-based eLearning program uses eSimulation technology to present interactive, realistic patient scenarios and prepare a wide variety of healthcare professionals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies; perform CPR; use an AED; and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Available to providers anywhere there is Internet connectivity, the program includes short skills games that help reinforce learning objectives, and features a feedback and evaluation debriefing mechanism that lets students know if their actions are correct or incorrect. NOTE: You must purchase one online HeartCode BLS Part 1 program for each student you need to train. Upon completion of the online, cognitive portion of the course (Part 1), students can practice their skills (Part 2) and take the skills test (Part 3) with a certified American Heart Association Instructor. Successful completion of all three parts meets requirements for the issuing of an American Heart Association BLS provider card.
