Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online CourseFor employees with a real potential for occupational bloodborne pathogen exposure! Through online content and interactive activities Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online teaches students how to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens in the workplace, as well as how to react when exposed, take the proper steps to clean themselves and the area after exposure, and report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Online covers the general OSHA Standard 1910.1030 for bloodborne-pathogens training for employees in non-medical settings with a real potential for occupational exposure, and is designed to meet OSHA requirements when paired with site-specific bloodborne-pathogens training. The online course can be used for first-time or renewal bloodborne pathogens training and provides students with a certificate of completion when they have successfully completed all modules.
