AHA CPR & First Aid Instructor Training

If you interested in becoming an American Heart Association
CPR Instructor
please read the following:
The purpose of the instructor course is to provide the opportunity to
acquire the acknowledge and skills necessary to instruct and evaluate
potential CPR or First Aid providers. The course will provide to instructor
candidates:
- The educational philosophy and national AHA policies and
procedures affecting all instructors.
- Sufficient background information for comprehension of the subject
matter.
- Information on teaching methods.
- An understanding of the educational aids available for teaching courses.
- The opportunity to develop effective presentation skills.
Prerequisite for the BLS Instructor Courses: Currently certified as
an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver CPR w/ AED and must posses a high
level of skill and comfort in performing CPR.
Pre-registration is required and seating is limited
Course Fees Includes student manual,
Instructor Card, registration, lab and materials fee.
