Summer Safety Tips

Be sure you wear all proper safety equipment for your
particular sport.

Always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.

Buckle your seatbelt every time you get into a vehicle.

Only attend beaches or pools that have lifeguards.

Never leave a child alone or unattended, especially near
water (bathtub, pool, ocean, lake).

Never leave a child alone in a closed or open car.

Do not label hats or clothing with a child's name.
Strangers
can pretend to be family or friends.

Teach children home and work phone numbers and addresses.

Never use lighter fluid when using a gas grill.

Never play with fireworks of any kind.
