Summer Safety Tips

  1. Be sure you wear all proper safety equipment for your
    particular sport.

  2. Always wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.

  3. Buckle your seatbelt every time you get into a vehicle.

  4. Only attend beaches or pools that have lifeguards.

  5. Never leave a child alone or unattended, especially near
     water (bathtub, pool, ocean, lake).

  6. Never leave a child alone in a closed or open car.

  7. Do not label hats or clothing with a child's name. Strangers
can pretend to be family or friends.

  8. Teach children home and work phone numbers and addresses.

  9. Never use lighter fluid when using a gas grill.

  10. Never play with fireworks of any kind.
